Homes Under The Hammer

The popular BBC 1 series Homes Under The Hammer returned to the air with series 13 month and Lucas Estate Agents are pleased to have been a guest agent for the episode featuring a property in Desborough purchased at Auction.

This popular programme looks at the property when it was purchased, taking comments from a local property expert and then revisits the property about six months later to see what improvements the buyer has made and what difference this has made to the potential value as assessed by a local property expert, in this case Keith Lucas.

Commenting on the programme Keith said 'it was a very interesting experience seeing just how they put together these programmes and a nice feather in our cap to have been invited to make the expert commentary.  It was also quite interesting given the timing of the making of the programme having done the first session last April/May in the teeth of the recession and then the second part in late October when the market had improved quite a lot.  I thoroughly enjoyed the experience but will stay with the day job for now!'

The show was first broadcast on BBC1 on Thursday 25th February at 10am series 13 episode 83.
